This is my current reel. Website: http://www.ricardo-musch.com @: ricardomusch [at] gmail [dot] com Software used: Silhouette, NukeX Breakdowns: Shot 1 - Mesmerism: - 3D tracked the shot, painted out the electrical socket on the right part of the wall, projected it onto a card and matched the 3D spacing, matched strobe flicker to paint patch, regrained patch using original grain analysed from the plate (Denoise & F_Regrain node) - Painted out heating pipes and unit, projected onto card and matched 3D spacing, matched strobe flickering, regrained patch using analysed grain, re-added actor on top using combination of roto and keying. Shot 2 - Deception: - Cleaned up tracking markers, added screen animation, matched lighting, collor correction, regrained - Added reflection of screens onto the monitor, color corrected, regrained, added actor on top using a combination of roto and keying. Shot 3 - Threads of Destiny The Green screens on this show are very hard to key because of DV artifacting and noise. - Cleaned up tracking markers, cleaned up DV edge problems (especially around the head) using a combination of native Nuke nodes, Created a clean matte (with motion blur) using various keying techniques combined with roto, despilled + comped over pink for reel. Shot 4 - Threads of Destiny The Green screens on this show are very hard to key because of DV artifacting and noise. In this shot adding the problem that there is almost no clear separation between the whites of the troopers against the green. - Created a garbage matte using a unchoked core matte, cleaned up remaining markers, the final matte was made using patched keying techniques combined with manual and (planar) tracked roto.
