After the passing of his late wife, a depressed elderly man who wishes to die but is too afraid to do the deed himself, tries to fight fate by attempting suicide in front of the angel of death.

SYNOPSIS:

Against Fate is a short independent film that tells a story of Toni, an elderly man who achieved a successful career in pharmacy, facing depression after the recent passing of his late wife. Despite Toni's old age, he's still healthy and is too afraid to take his own life. One day when the Angel of Death appears himself in front of him, not to Toni's life but teasing him. Toni saw this as a chance by attempting to purposely choke on his food right in front of the Angel of Death.
