Forced to rejoin the job market, a group of human guinea pigs, try to find their way through the maze of life while being secretively observed & monitored for an unknown purpose.

SYNOPSIS:

Double blind day is a pilot episode, which introduces a group of long-term disability claimants and unwitting participants in a clandestine social experiment. The main focus of this first episode is Denise Ackburn, a Job Centre Work Coach who is forced to return to work before fully overcoming an abusive marriage. Her story is intercut with that of Hazel Fullen's, a recovering anorexia. Pregnant to a guy who is cheating on her with her mother and has also been forced to try to find a job.
