SYNOPSIS:

Sheriff Massy Martinez has a personal stake in solving the murder of a migrant man in Nappa Valley. Her family has been farming the land since the days of the gold rush, and makes a point to look after migrants. But her quest for justice leads her to cross paths with Bebe Woodson, the flamboyant owner of a diner that used to be Massy's ancestral winery. Bebe was Massy's high school nemesis, and the cause of a scandal that still haunts them both. Despite their differences, Bebe offers to help Massy with the case, and reveals a hidden side of herself that Massy never expected. Together, they uncover a web of secrets and lies that connects the murders to the history of Nappa Valley, and threatens to destroy everything they hold dear.
