SYNOPSIS:

ACT 1

A teenager is murdered in an eatery in the outskirts of Temecula when she naively refuses to consume a new genetically modified food in the eatery.

A family of five resolves to go on a vacation to Palm Springs, California from Las Vegas, Nevada a day after the murder case.

ACT 2

MARCUS, JULIA'S husband coincidentally recommends they stop by at the same eatery in Temecula. SPENCER, their son who heard of the new genetically modified foods on radio reasons something anomalous. They witness a death scene as the waiter grows wild when she suspects they do not want to eat. The family drives away and halts at a checkpoint.

The cops say everything is fine. They start their vacation and have a good time. At twilight, they make a fireplace but a lady invites them to the hotel's café. SANDY and Spencer, Julia's kids perform singing and dancing in the café. They do not realise when a waiter enters into the café and serves the new genetically modified burgers.

Sandy makes out that the waiter is from that very eatery in Temecula and shrieks for help as the family starts running. They all get out of the hotel but sight an abandoned house. They are still chased until they enter the house and engross themselves in a ferocious combat with the automated beings.

ACT 3

PEARL, their last daughter notices a helicopter’s beam of light. The family is brought out of the house and taken to safety. They wake up in the hospital where they are treated.

Things go on fine until one night after Sandy’s graduation get-together party - Marcus and Julia watches the news and they see the man behind the fuss jailed but he promises a re-surge, explaining why he did it, and saying it is just the beginning. They both hear sparks; the light and television goes off.
