ME, MYSELF AND I
By Blessing Natukunda

GENRE: Other, Horror
LOGLINE: Trapped by her own imagination.

SYNOPSIS:

Mella, the protagonist is physchologically tortured on her own birthday after seeing a live video of her fiance getting married to another woman. She gets up and intends to move on with life with hope of later finding another lover. She is shocked by her fiance coming to her, still smartly dressed as a groom and tells her that she can never leave him for anyone else. The setting of the whole film is entirely in only one room. Thomas, locks Mella in her own bedroom and subjects her to torture, sexual abuse, hunger and everyone that tries to save Mella is killed as soon as they enter that room, and they are buried in a pit that is dug under Mella's bed. Mella eventually finds a way to escape from the room, after killing Thomas. She tries to jump out of the window but hears someone hardly knocking on the door. Mella, seated on the bath tub awakens from the deep thoughts, only to realise that all this was her own imagination. She runs back to her bed, gets her phone, notices that the wedding is still going on live.

Super interesting Blessing! Horror films are not my most favorite but I HAVE watched some... sounds pretty intense... especially the idea you have OF HAVING THE WHOLE FILM shown in only one room... Hmm... so interesting and very different WHICH I LOVE!!

Thanks so much for sharing this and I am wishing YOU SUCH THE GREATEST JOURNEY in this becoming a film that might have a more DEEPER MEANING underlining it - as we most know... often some films are a disguise for a REAL EVENT that is happening OR HAS HAPPENED ~ but can't be told as the TRUE STORY for protection purposes.

What is breaking my heart here is that this event horror happens ON HER BIRTHDAY... which we all know how IMPORTANT our birth dates are...ONE OF THE MOST SPECIAL DAYS IN A HUMAN LIFE... because we chose the planetary alignment for that particular DAY to help us move through TIME on this Earth plane.
