When two podcasters accidentally summon a cosmic evil while researching their next episode, they must fight for their survival and sanity as they are hunted by the dark.

SYNOPSIS:

Based on the HP Lovecraft story.

Occult podcaster, James Winston, returns to his childhood home in Providence RI to help with his dying father. Robert Blake, his best friend and cohost, decides to visit him for moral support. During his visit Robert becomes fascinated with an old abandoned church on the outskirts of town and decides that it will be the next subject for their podcast.

When Robert breaks into the church to investigate he discovers the remains of the Starry Wisdom cult. Exploring further he accidentally summons the being the cult worshiped, the Haunter. The Haunter is a cosmic horror capable of incredible destruction but can only travel in complete darkness. James and Robert try to figure out how to banish the Haunter for good but Robert’s grip on his sanity is slipping and the power keeps going out.
