SYNOPSIS:

"Lucid Dreams" unfolds in a future where technology allows people to control and manipulate their dreams, offering an escape from reality. The protagonist, Po Dillon, is a tormented police officer haunted by the loss of his family, finding solace only in the dream world where he can reunite with them, albeit temporarily.

Act 1 introduces us to Po's life, split between his grim reality and the solace he finds in dreams. The discovery of a criminal organization, Chimera, exploiting dream technology for nefarious purposes, draws Po into a complex investigation. The storyline thickens with the introduction of V1sion Corp's CEO, Harrison Lock, who announces a new dream technology aimed at improving lives, especially for the residents of The Trench, a poverty-stricken area. However, Po's personal stakes are elevated with the involvement of his estranged wife, May, a lead engineer at V1sion Corp, revealing layers of personal and professional conflict.

In Act 2, the narrative deepens as Po allies with Kaia, the daughter of a victim of the dream technology's dark side, to uncover the truth behind Chimera and V1sion Corp's intentions. The climax in Act 3 sees Po confronting Harrison Lock in a dramatic showdown within the dream world. Harrison's true intentions—to use the dream technology as a weapon against the underprivileged of The Trench—are revealed. Po, armed with newfound resolve and the help of his allies, fights to thwart Harrison's plan. Ultimately, Po fails to stop Harrison's plan, resulting in the death of countless citizens in The Trench.
