A woman who lost her son in a mass shooting is suffering from a fixed delusion believing that he wasn’t killed. For her very survival her therapist, Martin, must break the delusion, but a dark truth is preventing him from doing it.
SYNOPSIS:
“Crossfire” is the story about a psychologist named Martin who is counseling Felicia, a mother who lost her 10-year-old son in a mass school shooting. During two therapy sessions it becomes clear that it’s Martin who is having a harder time than Felicia. But why?
We find out at the end of the film that Martin has to face a nasty truth about the shooting that leads to shocking and emotional reveals for both Felicia and him. So shocking that the audience is left wondering if parents of mass shootings ever truly heal.
