SYNOPSIS:
A political satire about Leon, the charismatic longtime mayor of a small town. Leon understands what too much power can do to someone; it’s all about the balance, about finding that sweet spot, and he knows that.
The next election approaches, and it is time to find another winning strategy. For sixteen years, Leon has been the beloved mayor of this remote town, and he plans to keep going. Leon faces a struggle when Laura, a young and fresh face in politics but not new to him, threatens to break his streak.
With the help of his loyal assistant, Paul, and his longtime collaborators, he’s going to fight with everything he has to maintain his power. But Leon will realize that his old formula may not work anymore. The people who once loved him may not buy it this time. After all, all that glitters is not gold.
