SYNOPSIS:

A group of scientists from New York City embarks on a search for the sunken Atlantis. After submersion in the ocean, one of the expedition members nearly drowns. As he is lifted to the surface, the city appears to come alive before his eyes. His consciousness is transported back through history to 10,000 years ago. At that time, King Shel’hua was the ruler of Atlantis. His young, ambitious son and heir Goran has always wanted to emulate his father. He knew that after his father’s death he would take his place. But fate decides to intervene in his plans. The people of Atlantis betray their king by making peace with their most evil enemies – the Two-Faced. The people kill their king, thinking that they have gotten rid of his son as well. Goran survives, and his thoughts turn only to revenge. He finds himself in Erber, a city filled with peace-loving people who are likewise of Atlantean lineage. With time, Goran gains strength and is no longer a naïve youth. He also falls in love with the lovely Evelyn, the daughter of Erber’s leader. Evelyn is also beloved by Dorian, one of Erber’s warriors. The confrontation between Goran and Dorian interrupts the idyll amongst the people of Erber. But Onyx, the wise ruler of Erber, finds a way to smooth over the dispute between Goran and Dorian while helping Goran to get revenge for his father and for his people. Onyx tells Goran a story about the Stone Giants. And Goran confidently embarks on a journey to make allies out of these mighty warriors. Through cunning, Goran is able to win over the Stone Giants to his side. Now he can take revenge upon his enemies. But the Gods understand that the future will be irrevocably altered. They decide to punish the rampaging giants. They are consigned to complete annihilation and Atlantis is submerged into the depths of the watery waste. At the bottom of the ocean arises a legend of the once-indestructible Empire.
