SYNOPSIS:
Jason McCob, 40 years old, works in the film industry as a screenwriter and is in demand by many producers and film studios. And one day he comes up with the idea to write a series called "Screenwriter”. He comes up with many stories that occur in real life and writes about them. Over time, Jason is on the Internet on various sites, reading stories of real people who are like two peas in a pod like his film script. Jason is perplexed and decides that this is someone’s cruel joke, but then he understands, because only the pilot episode has been filmed, and the rest of the series is in the process of filming. Jason finds these people, and they tell him their stories and how the ending of his stories affected their personal lives. At this time, the series is gaining momentum on streaming platforms and the entire series is almost filmed. Over time, Jason decides to tell these people that somehow his film script influenced their real lives. People don't believe him at first, but after watching this series, they realize that he was telling them the truth.They demand that he rewrite the script so that all stories have a happy ending, Jason agrees to do this. But his agent, investors and the owner of the film studio are categorically against such changes, they say, this will have a bad effect on the ratings of the series and the bosses threaten Jason with dismissal. Jason is caught between two fires; his heart and mind are torn apart by uncertainty and crossroads. On the one hand, he does not want to lose his job as a film screenwriter by going against his bosses, because he has strived for this for so long, sacrificed a lot, and spent many sleepless nights. But the fate of the people from his stories, which turned out to be reality, also worries him and does not leave him indifferent. Jason eventually finds a way out by making up stories that make his bosses and those unfortunate people happy.
