SYNOPSIS:

This screenplay is a blend of psychological horror and supernatural suspense. At its core, it’s about a woman, Nina, confronting forces that seem beyond her control while grappling with her past. The story is designed to slowly unravel, revealing hidden layers as Nina faces increasingly terrifying events. The antagonist in the story serves as a constant source of dread, not through outright violence, but through its mysterious presence and subtle manipulation of the world around Nina. The tension builds gradually, with small moments of unease escalating into something much more unsettling. While supernatural horror drives the narrative, it was important for me to ground the story in emotional stakes. Nina’s journey is as much about confronting her inner demons as it is about the external forces she faces. I wanted the horror to feel personal, with the fear coming not only from what’s happening around her, but also from within. The screenplay leans heavily on atmosphere and suspense, focusing on the unknown and the slow realization that something is very wrong. My aim is to create a creeping sense of dread that stays with the audience, long after the credits roll.
