The funeral of one of his elderly aunts brings a disenfranchised Hollywood executive back to his hometown only to be entangled in a mystery of multiple gruesome murders, resurgence of his vague past, and a new outlook on his future.

SYNOPSIS:

Hollywood producer Lane Hewitt returns to his hometown for his aunt's funeral, finds his elderly aunt needs to renovate her Victorian home. Lane discovers a disturbing mystery involving multiple murders and secret burials in his aunt's rose garden. It is revealed that Aunt Ester along with her sister Aunt Rachel and friend Bessie Miller, hand been "helping" lonely old men by poisoning them and giving them "Christian burials" in their backyard. Lane has Aunt Ester committed to a psychiatric facility to avoid arrest. He decides not to return to Hollywood and starts a screenwriting school in the Victorian home, finding a new purpose and relationship with the contractor's daughter, Jessie Westcott.
