High school drama takes a twist when the new girl in town realizes they’re all in a TV series.

SYNOPSIS:

Anna, a 16-year-old girl, moves to a new town and starts at a new high school. As she navigates the social dynamics of her new school, she befriends Emily and Ethan. Anna begins to suspect that her life is actually a TV show, noticing clichés and plot devices typical of teen dramas until one day she starts hearing her own voice narrating events and even ends up breaking the 4th wall. She convinces Emily and Ethan of her theory, and they decide the best strategy to free themselves from their scripted lives is to try to get the "show" canceled. At a party, a drunk Anna publicly reveals her suspicions, including private information about Emily, damaging their friendship. The episode culminates in a shocking school shooting, with Anna taking a bullet for Emily.
