SYNOPSIS:
A Chinese fox spirit, Ann, poses as an international student in Vancouver and falls in love with a Canadian man. As Halloween approaches, she and her aunt Bai, a thousand-year-old snake spirit, plan to invite him to a costume party, intending to reveal her true identity in her spirit form. Ann wakes to find him gone, his belongings removed. Seeking guidance from her aunt, she learns that helping him may cost her magical powers, potentially transforming her into an ordinary fox. Her journey leads her to a barn where Jon has imprisoned his son to protect others from his transformations.Defying Jon’s warnings, Grateful and astonished, he accepts her help. Together, they embark on a journey to embrace their true selves in a world where differences are often met with prejudice.
