ECLIPSED SKIES 1966
By Giuseppe DiMarco

GENRE: Other
LOGLINE:

On a cold January night in 1966, a weary small-town patrolman investigates a series of bizarre lights over a frozen reservoir—only to find himself ensnared in a terrifying mystery that defies logic, tests his sanity, and threatens to unravel everything he thought he knew about reality.

SYNOPSIS:

Wyanockie, New Jersey—January 11, 1966. When an unexplained beam of light tears through the night sky over the frozen reservoir, Patrolman Jimmy Hobbs, a steadfast but skeptical cop, is dispatched to investigate. Expecting a hoax or a simple atmospheric illusion, he instead finds the town gripped by fear as the eerie light moves with intelligence, casting unnatural shadows and disabling electronics.

As Jimmy follows the phenomenon down a desolate road near the reservoir, he stumbles upon a chilling sight—a silent, hovering craft that defies physics. When his radio crackles with distorted voices and his cruiser shuts down, he realizes he’s not alone. Something is watching. Something that knows him.

As the night unfolds, Jimmy’s perception of time begins to fracture, and his past trauma resurfaces in surreal visions. He’s pursued by shadowy figures, enigmatic government agents, and his own deepening paranoia. The closer he gets to the truth, the more reality seems to slip away. By dawn, he will either expose a secret buried beneath Wyanockie’s quiet surface—or become another ghost swallowed by the darkness.
