SYNOPSIS:

Professor Aaron Rutherford is a young adjunct professor who walks with a cane to to problems in his back and legs. When he is fired, he attempts to return home to his mother, but she rejects him. He and others soon end up office slaves who never see the light of day in wintry Winnipeg--the film, as its working title suggests, is an homage to Guy Maddin.
