A longstanding arrangement between a cop and a criminal is threatened when an ambitious young detective starts to drive a wedge between them.

SYNOPSIS:

Edward O’ Conell and Tom Ward are two friends who start to drift apart after a devastating event.

As the years go on, Tom rises through the ranks of the L.A.P.D while Edward becomes a feared mob boss known as Winky O’ Conell.

Tom has done his best to keep Winky protected, but when the young, ambitious Nick Martin takes an interest in a case involving O’ Conell, and starts rising through the ranks quickly, an all-out war erupts on the streets of 1940’s Los Angeles, and nobody is safe any more.
