Three years after Jack the Ripper terrorized Whitechapel, a ruined former Inspector finds a body behind a brothel and fears the killer has returned.

SYNOPSIS:

Investigating the Whitechapel murders of 1888 took everything from David Fletcher. Mystery surrounds the once well-respected inspector with rumors of alcohol abuse and opium addiction, being near a brothel one night in 1891 does not help his reputation either.

When he finds a young woman murdered in ghastly fashion; he rushes to the station and meets up with Chief Roger Armstrong. The experienced officer has only stayed off Fletcher's path due to the promotion that came after the previous investigation. When his old friend visits him with the troubling news he summons the rest of his willpower to hopefully catch the killer once and for all.

As more victims turn up, Fletcher and Armstrong must deal with a more versatile killer, and watch their own backs when everything they thought they knew about the Ripper's methods changes.
