SYNOPSIS:

With the technology of Seldon Walker, his creator, at his disposal, Protheus, the Tall Warden has wreaked havoc in the milky way on an unwavering mission. Using the most brutal methods imaginable to achieve his unfathomable goal.

Opposing him is Annika Blackmore. The former Queen, Steward and current Admiral. With the help of her allies looking to achieve a similar end, she seeks to destroy the last of the late King's technology, and with it, the most troubling scars from her past.

Elsewhere in some distant realm, Captain Quintin Moore, the (mostly) reformed pirate Saffron Henley, the brilliant navigator, Manon Lovecraft and the always cheerful Igne warrior, Udnair, have found themselves in unforgiving circumstances that they must endure and escape.
