In 1920s London, the leader of a young street gang is recruited by a Butcher to kill the men who murdered his wife.
SYNOPSIS:
Ian McShoen is the leader of a street gang which also consists of, John Pumpel (who always seems to be frightened), Gaspy (who is the only one brave enough to challenge Ian’s authority, and loves Sun Deeply), Matty (the youngest of the group), and Sun (a beautiful, strong, but troubled woman who loves Ian despite her efforts not to).
The gang is trying to recover after a theft went wrong, and somebody ended up dead. While the others are deeply disturbed by the event, Ian seems to go into a different world where he denies the fact that he was the one who did the actual killing. Denial, however, is the least of Ian’s worries.
After a break in at an old man’s house by a different gang, the Purcell’s, Ian convinces the others to hit the house themselves, and take anything left of value. The owner of the house, known only as The Butcher, comes home and finds them. Rather than calling the police, The Butcher gives them an offer, they are to eliminate the Purcell gang, and in return, The Butcher will write a new will and leave them everything he has. Ian agrees, and the others do soon after.
Things almost immediately start to go bad, and when they do, Ian finds himself in a fierce battle of wits, not only with his friends, but a terrifying criminal, who may not be who he says he is.
