A lonely insomniac believes he is dreaming when his weekend holiday turns romantic.

SYNOPSIS:

Michael Bailey is a twenty eight year old insomniac in London. He still lives with his parents, he pretends to go to work in the morning, and spends most of his time getting drunk with his confused friend, Fred Robbins.

Michael’s father, Clive, gives Michael a plane ticket to Los Angeles, it’s his intention to get rid of the boy so he can have a romantic weekend with Michael’s mother, Martha, but Michael is the one who ends up having the time of his life.

Shortly after landing, Michael meets Alex, a beautiful and somewhat eccentric woman about his age. Michael is wary and confused as to why such a beautiful woman takes an immediate liking to him, so he figures that he must still be on the plane, and it’s all just a dream.

Lovestruck, Michael is determined to make this a dream he’ll never forget. Driven by a new sense of confidence, Michael decides to change his life for the better as he treks across Los Angeles with Alex, having often, hilarious encounters with colorful characters.
