A murderous film director puts a journalist with amnesia in his new movie.

SYNOPSIS:

Owen Newman is an Oscar winning director who takes realism and authenticity a bit too far. After numerous “accidents” on set, people start to get suspicious, and one reporter, Johnny Freeman, discovers that Owen's “accidents” may not be “accidents” after all.

Word of Johnny’s discovery eventually gets to Owen and since he can’t risk getting found out; he decides that Johnny must be eliminated.

After the first attempt fails; Owen has to improvise, so he throws Johnny into his latest project ‘Lost Vegas’ and makes him as comfortable as possible by giving him everything his heart desires. Even with the fame and the women; Johnny begins to question the situation he’s in.

What Owen doesn’t know is that Johnny’s best friend, Chris Hunter, and Chris’s lawyer, Tim Gardner, have come across Johnny’s story and are in a rush to get to Las Vegas to save him. Easier said than done as they experience a string of hilarious setbacks, the four hour drive turns into days of frustrations, hostage situations, and drug deals, all while coming across colorful characters on the road.
