SYNOPSIS:

In the summer of 1974, in a small Kentucky town, where there’s peace among neighbors, love is in the air, and a hand to hold on to through life’s disappointments. Missy, a young Italian girl from Milwaukee, fairly new in town, finds friends and love, life seems so great until she learns Timmy has to leave for the Army, they swear their love and she promises to wait for him. While Timmy is off to war, Missy is in a car wreck leaving her paralyzed, not wanting to be a burden to Timmy, she breaks off their engagement and vows to never let him know the truth.
