I am seeking an editor for my short film, 'Snake'; I need someone with an understanding of color grading, dramatic timing, and a good music sense, who can edit in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or Final Cut Pro). Snake is a psychological thriller, intended to be 20 to 25 minutes long. The story follows Anthony Conroy, a young businessman who has suspicions about his wife and closest friend. As Tony develops a deep paranoia, he questions morality and the limitations of his being, with dangerous conclusions. The story is deeply psychological, with a sobering philosophical edge, with high action and low action segments. If you think you can undertake this task, please do not hesitate to contact me!

good luck, Lauren, keep dreaming big and you will make it happen. A few thoughts/tips; 1. get someone close to you that you can trust but also who has some experience and hopefully someone you have known for quite a while OR someone clever and astute who can help you make sure that the team you assemble are doing it for the right reasons and are fundamentally going to be part of your TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More). 2. Get contracts from the word go and if there is no pay make sure you stipulate these kinds of things, the devil is in the detail and some people can be manipulating (not many out there from my experience but it only takes 1) 3. Communicate clarity and know what you want - Everyone likes a leader who knows what the plan is, even if this means delegating and asking. There are so many ways to trip up (part of the learning curve I know) and thats fine, but you just don't want any small trip to be fatal. Finally, All this is meant to help you go for your dreams with your eyes wide open and if a few points from my short movie making learning curve can help then I'm happy to share!
