A food critic explores fabled restaurants with a touch of magical realism while trying to understand his recipe for life. This is episodic food porn dressed in a modern parable.

SYNOPSIS:

Roy is a 20-year veteran food critic and writer who has reached the pinnacle of his profession and is thus bored. He is beginning to see weird things that are related to fairy tales. Because his rule is to eat at each restaurant three times before reporting on it, we get to know the story behind each eatery and Roy’s varied companions. It is a classic Heroes journey with Roy amassing a “Scooby Gang” to explain why his optics are off and what that means.
