SYNOPSIS:

Crime Files is a American crime comedy series created by Dwayne Johnson. It stars Dwayne Johnson as JT Black, a wannabee crime leader whose "Vivid attire" and "strange repeating coincidences" allow him to convince people that he's a stone cold killer and runs a big time criminal organization, although he wouldn't hurt a fly and lives at home with his mother. It co-stars Teddy Ray as "Lil Teddy" JT's best friend, next door neighbor, and his right hand man who knows JT Black is a fraud, but his loyalty keeps him humble and he's always there to cover up JT's messy tracks which is often. The show revolves around the everyday life of these two incompetent gangsters and their attempt to takeover their city through fear, violence, and extortion as they work their way up the criminal ladder. The common theme of the series is the eagerness and the constant pressure from JT's crew to actually see him commit a felonious crime and live up to "this" name that they've heard about. Through misdirection, his crews stupidity, and support from Lil Teddy, JT is always able to sidetrack his crew and ease his way out of these situations while still maintaining his toughness and street credibility. Backstory: Shows JT's girl breaking up with him over the phone while he cries in a bathroom stall like a baby. JT calls his mother and pours out. Miles away an unrelated foot chase sends two gangsters running into the same stall as JT. One of them happens to be a local kingpin known as the infamous Mr. Tony B, who is murdered right in front of JT by an unknown assailant. At gun point the assailant forces JT to wear his attire as he makes his daring escape. Bystanders run to see what's going on in the stall and find JT standing with red eyes and a look of craze. JT receives credit from bystanders for killing the notorious Mr. Tony B. JT realizes this is a moment that he can seize and change his life. When police arrive JT is in shock and still crying. They don't suspect JT at all, in fact they pamper him and ask him to role play what exactly happened in the bathroom stall. Bystanders, looking from a distance are confused and acknowledges JT's role-playing as his toughness, saying that JT confessed to the police that he murdered Tony B and they still didn't lock him up. JT's set free and he's been feared by many every since. He's gathered a group of naive kids whose heard of his reputation but has never seen the action. Nevertheless he has been known as the guy who killed Mr. Tony B and would kill again at any moment.
