SYNOPSIS:
In the mid 1980's, a middle aged married couple, Emit and Renee, are beginning a weekend getaway when they are hit by a train causing Renee to be killed . Emit is so devastated by the memory of his wife dying that his brain attempts to find the memory and erase it. In the process of this, his brain cannot find the memory and begins to rewind his body clock causing Emit to begin aging in reverse. Over the course of 30 years, with no friends or family,Emit's brain has trouble finding the memory and causes him to lose other memories all the while "aging" him younger and younger. Throughout his experience, he has a very caring and passionate doctor, Arthur, who is looking after him and trying to help as he had lost a son in the past due to a brain injury. Emit eventually ages back into a young adult at twenty years old and Arthur is now a retired eighty year old man and they live together briefly. Arthur dies of old age and leaves the young boy Emit with his final thoughts of how he thinks he can be cured. It is now up to Emit to follow this advice of Arthur, the one loving friend and doctor who stuck by his side for thirty years, before his condition causes him to become a life which cannot sustain itself. It's not every day you literally get a second chance to live your life.
