Claire, a recent high school graduate raised in a strict Christian house is determined to have her fathers church become a little more progressive by allowing her to follow in her fathers footsteps, eventually taking his place in due time when she returns from Van Guard Seminary. VanGuard Seminary, her father, an alumni, is located in Los Angeles, CA. Claire's expectations of her studies and student life at VanGuard end up being more of a naive fantasy while Claire learns more about herself and her heart while experiencing the reality of life outside of Kern, Pennsylvania
