A rich, city-girl co-ed on Spring Break has 48 hours to hunt lethal geocache “treasures” hidden in the wilds of a dangerous swamp to save her boyfriend from a psychotic killer.

SYNOPSIS:

JASELLE (Jazz) and NAT are Georgia college students on their way to Miami for Spring Break. Jazz is black and rich, Nat is white and poor. She has not told her parents about him so they take her black ex-boyfriend, MARCUS, as cover. For payment, Marcus makes them stop at various exits to hunt for hidden geocache treasures: his favorite hobby. They pick up friend ANTONIO/TONY from a rival Florida college on the way, and the four hunt one last geocache in woods not far away, near the Wetlands Preserve State Park.

Along with typical trinkets, the tub they find contains the flyer of a male student who went missing in the area two years ago. When the four stop to eat at a remote diner nearby, Nat goes missing, too. All that remains is the wadded up flyer, slashed tires and a bloody clump of Nat's hair. Jazz calls police, but small town OFFICER MELISSA cannot file a Missing Person's report for 48 hours.

The next day, Jazz finds Nat's bent, blood-crusted earring on the ground and desperately texts him again. This time, a reply -- a picture of Nat, bloody and beaten, earring ripped out, with an ultimatum: to save his life, she must find three hidden geocache "treasures" in the wetlands. If she succeeds, and survives, Nat goes free.

Terrified of the outdoors, Jazz battles hornets, poisonous snakes, black bears, and an alligator-infested river to find the tubs. Each is more dangerous than the last, and each contains more pieces of Nat. Because Marcus and Tony ignored her plea (and the killer's warning) to leave, they get kidnapped and parts of them turn up, as well. Jazz decides to tell Officer Melissa, but finds her with COLE WARREN, a beloved local widower with a handicapped arm who lost his daughter to sex trafficking years ago. His car matches one that attacked Jazz earlier, and it is dented where she slammed into it. Cole is the kidnapper!

Fearing Melissa's involvement, Jazz survives the last horrific geocache and sneaks to Cole's Wetlands Wildlife Park on her own. Marcus is dead, and Nat and Tony are barely alive - victims of Cole's serial killing

vengeance against the boyfriend who lured his daughter away and allowed her death. Jazz uploads video to the Sheriff before hiding among the wild animal exhibits as a living geocache for Cole to find.

At the Reptile House, Jazz releases a lethal snake for Cole. But Officer Melissa suffers its bite. She had been suspecting Cole for years, but needed the proof found in Jazz's video and other evidence. Melissa dies and Cole tries to feed Jazz to the gators. But Nat breaks free and helps Jazz fight back as more police rush in. Together, they end Cole's reign of terror that claimed twenty victims over fifteen years.
