Conscience Killer is a short film, adapted from a Mark Twain short story, about a man who actually kills that little voice we all have in our heads that says, “Don’t do it.” This film explores the question of what a conscience is and what happens to someone who has no conscience. 

SYNOPSIS:

Mr. Slay is a wealthy businessman who buys older companies or those in financial trouble and sells off part of those companies for profit no matter what the consequences, usually massive layoffs and ruined lives. While mulling whether to whack up another company he is visited by a small figure, his conscience. They argue and fight until Mr. Slay kills off his own conscience. The result is a horrific crime spree that finally lands Mr. Slay on Death Row, where he is visited by a journalist who wants to know why he did all those terrible things.
