Hello all, I have had a little gem of an idea which I would like to wittle up into a screenplay, however, although I am an experienced writer, this is a totally new format for me, so I would be incredibly grateful if anyone could give me a few pointers, golden rules, 10 commandments, whatever you want to call them, on how to write a screen play. Howdy chaps, I was in two minds about putting this in the 'Your Stage' section, but I wanted to try an ensure that this post went to the right audience; I love the medium of animation and I suppose a dream of mind would be to one day to provide the voice of a character no matter how small the part, for say a Pixar or Studio Ghibli project. Back in the real world however, I realise how remote that possibility really is, but I'd still love to give it a try, (I've only done one so far for a friend). Hello! Very interested in being involved if I can be, am a bit of a steampunk myself so this would be a great opportunity.

Good afternoon all. I felt it was time to introduce myself to you all. My name is Matthew, I have always been interested in pursuing a career in the entertainments industry, but as we all know, that is easier said than done. After years of Am Dram and Extras/Background Artist work on the side, I'm looking to see if I can break into voice acting. I have not yet taken the plunge and quit my day job, but I have very sympathetic employers so I can be flexible. I've already recorded a sound reel (see the link below), but I'm eager to broaden the scope of my portfolio, so I'm happy to do some work pro bono (especially if money is tight).
