A former lawman is forced to confront his past when he finds the last of his family in a life-and-death struggle against a ruthless land baron.

SYNOPSIS:

Liam Slater, a former sheriff with a tragic and violent past, is on a final journey searching for his last remaining kin, Emmy Hodges, a half-Shoshone niece whom he hasn't seen in over thirty years.

Liam finds her family in jeopardy of not only losing their home but facing the loss of Emmy's husband, Jesse, who is on trial after having been framed for murder by Big Jim McDuff, a powerful and ambitious saloon owner. The Hodges' property is rich with an abundance of water and Big Jim knows the importance of controlling this resource for the future of the growing town of Laramie.

Liam utilizes investigative, courtroom and early forensic skills in an attempt to win Jesse's freedom. As his past catches up with him, Liam realizes that in order to protect and save his new-found family, he must resort to an old skill he swore never to use again.
