A workplace comedy set in a cheap restaurant that follows a group of rideshare drivers struggling to make ends meet by ferrying strangers all around Los Angeles while simultaneously pursuing the dreams that brought them there.
SYNOPSIS:
"Rideshare" is written along the lines of classic shows such as "Taxi" and "Cheers." The series follows the day-to-day lives of an eclectic group of rideshare drivers in Los Angeles — including the ubiquitous up-and-coming actress, an amateur MMA fighter with a glass jaw, a pot selling old hippie, a struggling soccer mom stuck in overdrive, and uber laid back Paul, the only full-time driver in the group. They congregate in the decrepit (yet cheap) “Max’s Roadhouse” bar and grill, using it as a base of operations in their daily struggle to earn enough money to pay their bills by driving the denizens of Los Angeles hither and yon while still trying valiantly to pursue their dreams.
