When a nine-year-old adopted bright black boy discovers that his only friends, the gaggle of lawn ornaments in his neighbor’s lawn who are alive to him, are now destined for the dump due to the vigilant cleanup for the upcoming Christmas Light Display Contest, it’s up to the boy to battle to redeem the lost and discarded ornaments and shine light at the darkest time of year.
