Andrew Haswell Green, the Father of Greater New York, who united the five boroughs and designed Central Park, brought down the corrupt Tweed dynasty, is shot and killed by Cornelius Williams, an African American furnace tender, over the love of Hannah Elias, a wealthy African American Enchantress in 1900 New York City. "HANNAH ELIAS" is a story where truth is stranger than fiction. Hannah Elias represented a society of women of her time who, despite their controversial life style, had a tremendous impact on the social fabric of the upper and lower echelon of NYC urban society.
