After their reentry goes wrong and they splashdown hundreds of miles off course, five astronauts and two space tourists must await rescue from shark-infested waters.

SYNOPSIS:

In the near future -- the first all-female moonwalk is successful. And waiting for them on the lunar orbiter, in addition to the rest of their crew, are a pair of space tourists: a rich man and his influencer daughter.

They make a quick stop at the International Space Station for some rest and to pick up the final member of their crew and head home.

The rich man bribes the crew to let him drive the return trip, and ends up causing issues with the capsule which results in a misgotten re-entry that lands the damaged capsule in the ocean, hundreds of miles off-course!

They have to survive each other, the sinking re-entry capsule, and sharks in order to wait for rescue.

It's a shark attack movie with a realistic and devastating twist that makes this part space disaster movie, blending two popular thriller movie types into one.
