A white, corporate V.P. struggles to rebuild a beloved, family corporation after links to the U.S. slave trade, a possible murder and other sinister crimes against minorities are revealed.
SYNOPSIS:
Technology Enterprises is a mega corporation run by the Strong family. The CEO, Arness Strong, has his son, Mark, as the V.P. of Operations and his daughter, Darcy, as the V.P. of Marketing. The patriarch, Sidney Strong, is retired but played a major role in growing Tech Enterprises. Boris Petrov, a Russian immigrant and family member, started the company in the 1800's. As the company approaches its 175th anniversary, news is revealed about possible links to the U.S. slave trade. Boris Petrov owned plantations and slaves. This news hits the company hard but management responds and things settle down. Weeks later, a leak is exposed about possible immoral financial dealings the company has. A curious black reporter uncovers this information and the company sinks into a coma. Employees leave the company, a boycott of its products occurs, protestors camp out at the company headquarters and stock prices drop. An employee mysteriously dies who may have exposed the company. Things escalate as Mark takes the helm to resuscitate Tech Enterprises. His father is exposed as a possible crook and greedy business man. It is up to Mark Strong to redeem the company, save his family from further financial ruin and shame by appealing to the hearts of an angry, suspicious black community.
