A forensic pathology student volunteering on an isolated body farm is horrified to discover the corpses have begun to change position or even disappear altogether.

SYNOPSIS:

Rural Illinois, 1999. PhD student Alyssia has volunteered to continue her research under Professor Mannis on his isolated body farm during the Christmas holidays. She is tasked with monitoring the decomposition of various corpses that have been placed in different environments around the property. This critical research will be used to help determine cause of death and time of death for future crime scene investigations. After an uneventful week with only the company of the dead, Alyssia begins to notice that the bodies have moved positions or even disappeared overnight. When her childhood friend Jess surprises her to celebrate Christmas together, Alyssia must investigate the corpses' mysterious movements while wrestling with her attraction to Jess in the 1990s Midwest where homosexuality is not widely accepted.
