Short track racing is America's best kept secret. Every weekend on hundreds of dirt and asphalt short tracks around the country, fans pour in to cheer for their favorite local drivers. Our host, Discovery Channel Star Wes Kain, will take you behind the scenes, into the pits, and into the lives of the men and women behind the wheel, and lift the visor on these Short Track Warriors.

SYNOPSIS:

Each episode of Short Track Warriors will tell the story of one weekend of racing on the road to win the series championship through interview footage and compelling b-roll filmed on-location at the tracks, garages, and homes of our drivers. Racers gather at the track on Friday and run preliminaries, work on their cars and trucks all day Saturday to race Saturday night, and head home Sunday a winner or a loser and start it all over again for the next race. Our expert host Wes Kain, star of Discovery's "The Vanilla Ice Project," a short track racer himself, will insert backstory, light information and explanations, and some fun. As a veteran of the sport and a television personality for over a decade, Wes will also serve as a business mentor to some of our drivers who are looking to "go pro" or make the sport make more money for themselves to provide for their families.
