A lonely private investigator goes looking for love and winds up being framed for murder by a group of con artist.

SYNOPSIS:

Film noir about a private investigator who unsuspectingly gets recruited by a female socialite to be the fall guy for the murder of a wealthy art dealer. The art dealer was murdered because he was planning on cutting out the female socialite and her associate, a conniving attorney, from a plan to steal artwork and smuggle it out of the country. The private investigator gets drugged at the party of the wealthy art dealer's mansion and is made to look like he actually committed the murder. The private investigator tries desperately to stay one step ahead of the Los Angeles police who are in constant pursuit of him while searching for evidence that might prove he is innocent. He meets and falls in love with a women who tries to help him prove his innocence. Their search throughout Los Angeles for the truth that could prove the private investigator's innocence ends tragically.
