Two young female scientists discover their true nature and realise they are the key to human evolution

SYNOPSIS:

A (6 part Mini series fantasy/ horror/ comedy, inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King, set in the near future. The Pilot The pilot episode, entitled The Valhalla Effect, introduces a set of strong, interesting characters in a highly-effective story line: The Professor, an eminent scientist, goes missing. Two young female scientists, Helma and Lona are introduced to each other for the first time by Lona’s lover Theo, Department Head of the pharmaceutical company they work for. The girls are subsequently kidnapped for no apparent reason, held in an asylum for the criminally insane and tortured. In a botched escape attempt they run into the hands of a second kidnap gang where once again they are tortured. Theo attempts to rescue them but they run from him as they now believe that he is evil and corrupt and was somehow involved in their incarceration in the asylum. The two girls realise they must discover the reason why they are being hunted. They need to stay one step ahead of their hunters or face certain death at the hands of unknown assailants. They don’t know who they can trust. They believe they only have themselves and their wits to rely on. Just when it seems they cannot outrun their antagonists they receive help from an unlikely source…
