When a young couple surprise their estranged mothers with their engagement, worlds collide, secrets are revealed, and old wounds are healed.

SYNOPSIS:

Tess Collins and Annie Griffith were lifelong best friends until the fateful night Tess saw Annie with her brother-in-law Glen Walker. For six years, Tess has blamed herself for breaking up her sister’s marriage and hasn’t spoken to Annie or Riley Walker.

Now Annie is thrust back into Tess’ life when their children, Max and Faith, surprise everyone when they announce their engagement.

Annie n’ Tess follows the women as they evolve from their estrangement back to friends. They are thrown together as they go dress shopping, attend the engagement party, bridal shower, shop the florist, caterers and bakery.

As the two women clash, the strain proves to be too much for Max and Faith. Faith begins keeping secrets from Max when Tess inadvertently reveals to her the reason for Tess and Annie’s estrangement. Max and Faith struggle as the two begin to take sides in defense of their mothers.

Faith also decides to reunite her mother and her aunt, Riley Walker. After years of blaming herself for Riley’s failed marriage, Tess still hasn’t spoken to Riley. Faith brings the two of them together and successfully reunites them. Faith also keeps this from Max. When Max finds out about the reunion, he questions Faith about the probability of Tess and Annie reuniting. Faith is non-committal.

Annie figures out Faith has learned the secret between Annie and Tess and confronts Tess at the rehearsal dinner. The confrontation leads to understanding and reconciliation as Annie tells Tess the truth about the encounter between Annie and Glen. When Tess learns that Annie told Glen no, Tess comes to realize the mistakes she has made in being so judgmental and her unwillingness to take responsibility. Annie admits her stubbornness prevented their reconciliation from happening much sooner.

Ultimately Max decides he can’t marry Faith with all the secrets between them, and the wedding is called off in the 11th hour. This forces Annie and Tess to smooth things out between the couple together and the wedding and reception go off without a hitch.
