By Anthony Moore

GENRE: Sci-fi, Fantasy
LOGLINE:

A post-apocalyptic spell-casting witch is teleported into the middle of an intergalactic war against a ruthless, technologically advanced race bent on exterminating the human race and must protect the one man who may hold the key to humanity's salvation.

SYNOPSIS:

On post-apocalyptic Earth, a coven of witches live, work, and argue together in a world without men. Myriham Tristian, a.k.a. Mary, is a free-spirited young woman who despises rules, order, and chores. She is often punished by the Grand Mistress, head of the coven, for her disruptive behavior. One night, the Grand Mistress receives a portent of the future. Death and despair are coming unless the witches can change it. They use an age-old ritual that hasn’t been attempted in half a century. During the ritual Mary is teleported away.

Sergeant John Abrams, a space marine, is aboard a spaceship in the middle of an intergalactic war. He captures an intruder, Mary, right after a big battle. She is questioned but doesn’t where she is or why. But through some diplomatic finagling, John ends up becoming her unwilling bodyguard, as Mary is deemed an ambassador from Earth and must be protected. Mary discovers that her mission is to protect John, who is supposed to be some type of emancipator. The pair do not get along, as Mary does what she wants, and John is very “by the book”. A planetary distress signal draws the spaceship to a remote outpost. When John goes on a recon mission, Mary follows and is captured by the “Armors”, a technologically superior race bent on destroying humanity, and John is wounded.

John attempts a rescue and successfully frees Mary, but the pair are unable to escape the enemy ship. Battling to escape, Jon using advanced weapons and Mary using her magical skills, they encounter the bioweapon, a four-armed animalistic alien race, mentally enslaved by the Armors. John and Mary free the the “Ascoti”, who turn on their oppressors. During the chaos, John and Mary are rescued from the ship, but John is fatally wounded. Mary uses her healing magic to keep him alive until they reach the ship.

Days later, John finally comes out of his coma, and Mary is right by his side. Both are glad to be alive, but John tries escape the hospital room when Mary suggests the pair start dating and get married.
