David, 26, an edgy engineer, spits a gob as he leans on his old car smoking a pinner in the dirt driveway of his parent's country home. He gets a job offer from his ex-girlfriend, Finna. On the way to the interview, a bizarre altercation takes place when Ryan, a rich chemical racketeer, and Yang, his Chinese client, encounter David peeing on Ryan’s Grandfather’s monument in a park. Ryan chases David up a rocky cliff. They fistfight. Ryan falls backward and dies. Yang fires a gun but the bullet hits Albert, Ryan’s driver. David speeds away.

At the interview Diana, 45, a gorgeous executive, intoxicates David with a sensual connection when they meet in a corporate hallway. Lightning strikes! David accepts Finna’s job offer. That night, Ryan’s death hits the news. He was the CEO of Delphic, the company David now works for! And Diana is his widow. David locks his doors and cries himself to sleep.

Diana takes control of Delphic and fires Zena, Ryan’s ex-wife and attorney. Zena vows to find Ryan’s killer. David moves to the city consumed by his new job.

Delphic is in ‘hot water’ with the EPA for contaminating water, similar to the Flynt, Michigan scandal. David spends long nights in the labs. He creates TDP which cleans up Delphic’s debacle. Diana is enamored by David and takes him to dinner. They test their sapiosexual chemistry.

Diana and David drive along the ocean. They get sensual on the beach and explore their limits. Out of the blue, David proposes to Diana. She accepts! They marry and honeymoon in Greece. David moves into her estate. Diana makes David a partner in Delphic, along with her autistic brother Carl.

David, Diana and Delphic’s lawyer Martin, discuss Yang’s extortion of TDP. David knocks on Zena’s townhouse door for clues. She mocks him before rudely exposing the fact that Diana and Ryan had a child.

David asks Diana about the child. Diana confesses yes, she had a baby boy and admits her regret of how and why she gave him up. David evens the playing field by telling Diana about Ryan. They vow to keep their secrets sacred and make passionate love.

One day, David gets a call from his mother. His father is dead. Diana and David rush to her side. Mother tells a long-kept secret. David was adopted.

Next morning, David goes to an adoption agency. After intense scrutiny, an Executive hands over his adoption records. David calls Diana and shares his discoveries, his adoption dates, the attorney, the agency. On the estate Diana searches Ryan’s old safe. She is suddenly traumatized. Diana’s son with Ryan was at the same agency, same attorney, same dates. Together they realize the horrifying truth. David has killed his birth father and…
