A vulnerable screenwriter must fight for survival after being stalked and kidnapped by his ex-lover.
SYNOPSIS:
I would categorize "A Royal Nightmare" as a 2017 tribute to "Fatal Attraction." The story is about Marek, an Oscar-winning screenwriter feeling jilted and abandoned after breaking up with his long-standing girlfriend. Soon thereafter, Marek is coaxed into meeting Athena, a well-known Manhattan socialite, who also happens to be the Crown Princess of Albania. Little does Marek know Athena is also a mentally disturbed, obsessed fan with a history of stalking and abusing men. Their relationship progresses smoothly at first, but Marek is soon put off by Athena's arrogant and self-absorbed manner. Marek attempts to end the affair, but instead of accepting it and moving on, Athena slanders Marek in the press and brutally attacks one of the former couple's mutual friends.
Upon learning of Athena's sinister tendencies, Marek desperately tries to escape her clutches, but each attempt is met with greater resistance and increasingly dire consequences. In addition, many of Marek's close friends and associates become hapless sparring partners in Athena's psychological prize fights. Marek eventually changes his approach and, just when it seems like he makes a breakthrough, Athena doublecrosses him. Marek then finds himself in the ultimate struggle for survival.
I am confident the psychological roller coaster ride, as well as the high stakes in "A Royal Nightmare" will engage a wide array of moviegoers. It is also my firm belief that the character of Athena has the chance to go down as one of the most memorable "bad girls" in recent times.

The logline was ok but your synopsis didn't really give me much. I was hoping for Misery meets basic instinct. Good luck
