Jake Cafferty is slowly dying from boredom at his dead-end office job when his buddy Rick Forge talks him into smuggling chewing gum into Singapore, where it is illegal, to sell on the black market. They run afoul of Triads, the Yakuza, and the Russian mob all in one day, as well as learn that the CIA is orchestrating the entire debacle in order to get the chewing gum ban lifted. With only a fifteen-minute window, Jake and Rick have to somehow make their deal and escape without getting either arrested or killed.
