An aging CIA agent, still guilt ridden about the loss, years earlier, of his wife and son in childbirth, is sent on a mission on Christmas Eve, 1968, along with two other agents, to East Berlin to retrieve Soviet nuclear components and he must decide to either save a pregnant woman giving birth, or the mission, all the while being chased by a crazed Soviet Major who wants them all dead.
