During the Civil Rights era, three teens -- a poor White James Dean wannabe with anger issues and two Black track stars who face racial harassment at a White girls' academy they attend on athletic scholarships -- get caught up in a racist and wildly illegal conspiracy to use primarily African Americans as guinea pigs for medical experiments.
